Born, raised and still lives in Des Moines, IA.

The summer of 2008 saw Brian celebrate his 56th birthday and 32nd wedding anniversary.

Brian retired as a Lieutenant from the Polk County Sheriff's office after thirty years of service and one month was later hired by The Bob Pace Band featuring Blues Hall of Fame singer Steve George.
Brian also spent some time prior to getting the call from Bob Pace, playing with Janey Hooper.

Prior to his retirement, Brian worked part-time as the house DJ and emcee at Jazzy Willy’s.
