KFMG sez: Thanks to the Polk County Supervisors

Des Moines Community Voice K F M G has been awarded a Community Betterment Grant from the Polk County Supervisors. This $5000 grant money will be dedicated to improving the KFMG broadcast signal to better serve more people in greater Des Moines.

KFMG is humbled by this recognition of our community efforts and thankful for this support by the supervisors.

The STORYTELLERS debut on KFMG

KFMG enthusiasticly supports the arts in Des Moines and we are pleased to feature the art of storytelling with THE STORYTELLERS.

The debut show is a collection of childrens tales from around the world as told by Des Moines storytellers: Neil Salowitz, Maureen Korte, Jim Boardman and Carole Taylor.

Family-friendly listen times too: May 8 @ noon, May 9 Bedtime edition @ 10pm, May 10th at 9am and Sunday May 11 at 2 pm.

KFMG Birthday Bash Music Available on CD

Triad Recording Services recorded the Bash concert with the Nadas, Sam Salomone, and Lady Blue. This CD will be available soon for a small donation to KFMG. What a great memento for those who attended this special event.
